As a Creative Producer | Director | Choreographer, I work under the banner of a company I developed called CowboyCreatives: www.CowboyCreatives.com

Beginning in June of 2000, I moved to Tokyo and began producing full time, and running a new venture company called Soundgraphix, I had been developing with a Japanese partner. I spent 5 years there. It was quite an experience, to say the very least. We were a multimedia production studio, combining high-end web development with offline branded presentations and entertainment productions. As a Creative, writing and directing these branded productions and campaigns for Japanese Corporate clients, and Ad Agencies proved to be an indescribable challenge, unlike any other. It came with a full set of obstacles at every single level and step along the way. My goal was all about making a way, finding solutions and creating a unique system that would work within the confines of the Japanese Ad Agency environment. Ultimetly, I developed and implemented a system that had never been previosuly achieved. I like to refer to it as the time I earned my Doctorate Degree. The actual, and physical producing of these shows in various countries around the world was by far the easiest part.

Personal Statement about Creating in the Corporate Environment:

I believe the key to success in this environment begins with being a great listener. It is taking what you hear and translating that creatively, into what they are not telling you, simply because they don’t know quite how...that is why they need you. It is thinking in 360, outside the box, researching their company, services, and target market thoroughly in order to discover new ways to reach an audience effectively, no matter what the format.

My background in the entertainment industry gives me a unique insight and approach to the overall creative production process. With professional on-camera / on-stage experience, accumulated over the last 30 years, there’s a lot to draw from. I have a lot of long term, behind the camera relationships in the industry as well. I’m used to dealing with all kinds, and believe me, I do mean all kinds. I’ve spent a great amount of time in Europe, Asia, Australia, Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, and Nashville. I was born and raised in Portland Oregon. I currently reside in Los Angeles.

I am always looking to further invest my experience/background and all else I have to offer into places where it has a chance to continue to grow, and contribute in an environment where my artistic and marketing sensibilities are most useful.
